in truth, i missed the boat on Goonies growing up, but as i [re]discovered it later in life, this scene with Mouth always made me want to stand up and cheer. i think it's one of the best speeches in movie history, and probably means more to me now than it would've when i was 8
i gave it a li'l touch o' gold for that "in-person" aspect

This post gave me goosebumps. This quote always gets me and you captured it! I hope Corey is at the show so he can enjoy it in person. Can't wait to see your Ghosbusters!
Looking at this a second time, a white outline around the character might be nice. Make him pop a little more from the background and also compliment the white text. Just a thought...
yeah, that's funny Joe Game, i totally considered doing that as i was applying the masking fluid, but in the end i wanted to see if i could place Mouth in the cave before i reduced myself to any trickery. i keep looking at it now wondering if it was a mistake. oh well, something to think about for the next time!
PS: i don't dare dream that Corey (Donatello!) would be there! plus maybe he'd be mad i made him look like a baby vulture. meh, i'll throw one in a fountain for good measure...
nice!
yess! fantastic! his face is awesome. i'm not usually a fan of words in artwork, but i think that's what makes this one. it wouldn't be so great without it. and i love the touch of gold!
