Here's my piece for the Memes
show currently up at Gallery 1988! The show is also a celebration of
the Gallery's 8th anniversary, so I'm thrilled to be a part of it.
I'm a fan of way too many internet memes to just pick one, so I came up
with this trading card idea as a way of drawing all my favorites. The
cards are actually standard trading card size on the prints, which you can buy here from the gallery.
Also, check out this video of opening night.

He went extinct for your sins!
Here is my contribution to the upcoming g1988 show "Memes, a tribute to the internet's favorite creations". The show opens this friday at 7020 Melrose Avenue, Los Angeles, CA 90038. Its one of the more ridiculous show ideas in a while and I'm glad I could be a part of it. Its also g1988's 8th anniversary so its sure to be a good time. I had a lot of fun with this project. This handsome Raptor Jesus is a 4 color hand pulled screen print. Show runs for about a month and remember to hide your sin, he's learned to open doors.

The Star Wars Kid – The Phantom Apprentice
My next piece for the upcoming Gallery 1988 Melrose show entitled "Internet Memes" This show marks the Gallery's 8th Anniversary with a massive show celebrating the greatest internet memes. With over 25,000,000 views on YouTube alone the Star Wars Kid rises above most. A true classic in every way, I couldn't resist picking that video as my subject for this show.
