well first off i hope you know by now what a fan i am of yours. i think your paintings always look awesome. i think there are some aspects of the halftone exploration working better than others, but i would hope to see hundreds more studies from you, which i know is possible because you're insanely prolific.
i guess at first glance i feel the definition in LINE is lost, and it comes off more pixelated than anything (maybe that's good). but there's too many artists today that do line work and halftone coloring only, so i commend you for going all the way too. heck, i'd also love to see you blow the hell out of this with dots, really mess with the eyes and STILL see the great art and wonderful character work that you create.
