Maori Murray by Karla Jane - Please Post Bills

Ko Wiremu Murray tēnei. He rangatira a ia. I whānau mai a ia i Wilmete Illinois, he wāhi kei tuauru o Michigan. He katorika ōna mātua. Nō Airihi me Amerika rāua.

Which roughly translates to:
Ko Wiremu Murray tenei (this is Bill Murray) He rangatira a ia. (He is a chief). I whanau mai a ia i Wilmete Illinois, (he was born in Wilmete Illinois) he wahi kei tuauru o Michigan. (A place west of michigan.) He katorika ona matua. (His parents are catholic). No Airihi me Amerika raua. (They were from Ireland and America.)

This is my contribution to Please Post Bills. Since I am from New Zealand I wanted to do something that traditionally represented that and as that I am a tattoo artist I was inspired by traditional Maori tattooing. So I decided to make Bill Murray a Maori Chief by giving him a Ta Moko (traditional Maori Tattoo) by stitching through the paper which I water coloured, hope you like!!
Maori pronounced like Mouldy but slightly roll the r!!

Venkman Burn in Hell...

Venkman - for sale, read below

MURRAY! Super excited about the Please Post Bills show. I wanted to get in on the Murray fun going on. I created this 11"x14" oil on canvas tribute to Murray (or Venkman if you consider the Zener card images in the background). Hope you guys dig it.
