wow, the fisherman's wife pieces are turning out so nice that i'm kind of kicking myself for not participating, but i've been super busy working on spots for the fall.
i will be all over the next theme.
for now, here's one of my spots- it's the poor drunken cowboy who was led off by a half a dozen cops after being dragged into the southwest terminal where i was waiting for my flight.
the poor guy was so drunk, he said, because he was so terrified of flying. this was the point at which the police were all standing around him discussing what to do with him after sitting him down and taking the alcohol that he somehow got into the terminal- and he just looked so embarrassed and so ashamed.
he begged them to just let him leave, and i don't know if they just escorted him out of the airport or if they actually booked him.
i kind of hope they let him go.

Wow, what a great piece, I love the warm colors and design...What sad story too. You defenitely captured the moment. Poor dude...
I like the color a lot. I think the drawing of the hands and hat could be better but other than that the red of his face and that light behind him are all really nice parts.
I love the drawing and the lighting of this piece but I am going to piggy back on what tim said. I also think that naturally his left elbow/our right, should come closer to him alittle more. Plus I think the knee on the same side is out alittle to much. Also one last nit pick is I am alittle bothered by the wall paper pattern transparent over his skin and going over the Heart airport wings. Over the skins is alittle bothering and the air port wings look really tacky unless thats what your going for.
Love the composition, love the story, other the the nitpicking, great job!
