the first one's not quite my taste, because of color and the mark you used for the 3d ray thing, but the 2nd one is lovely. is simple and the marks of the face don't go crazy.
whaaat!? i think they both look great, but i'm particularly drawn to the Andrew one. maybe i'm cray, but i actually quite like the marks you used for the 3d glasses lasers.
what's with the sunburst on Rachel's shoulder?
Well Sir Stabwell, I'm totally cray cray too, because these are totally swell as hell!! Rock on Fish, these look awesome. The inky brush on Andrew works really well. I'm diggin' how the first is kinda messy and loose and the second is really simple and refined.
I saw this piece yesterday and it didn't have the yellow on it, I liked it much better without that yellow. The second one is really nice, but I think sometimes you could use your markmaking more to your advantage. Nice work though

Alex- The sunburst is around where her heart is. I didn't want to draw a heart since it would either be Tara McPhersony or it would imply she was my lover when she isnt.
Dan - Thanks for the comments! I just love making stuff look messy and silk screeny.
Shane - Monitor to monitor it is differn't. I am trying to find a tan paper than works digitally and traditionally that works best and I haven't found one. Even Rives BFK is to pale and when you bump up the color it gets weird. I am still searching...
How do you suppose I use mark making to my advantage?

I think you really stepped up to the plate on these two ( sorry for the god awful expression), the drawings are great, i recognized Andrew immediately, and i actually love the beams coming out of his eyes. Good stuff. Keep up the good work!
