Whale Versus Man

Something I'm working on. I think alot of the individual elements are good, but as a whole it might not be consistent.

AWESOME!!
i love that you didn't try to make the characters just regular looking people. it lets you know that they're specific characters.
it also looks really sophisticated, that even though it's in the realm of 'cartooning' it's not ment specifically for a young audience, like Tetzuka and Herge.
it's also really clean and easy to read the outlines of the characters.

you said it feels unbalaced:
maybe there needs to be more of a connection between the the characters and the whale? or less distance between them? (personally the whole thing works for me)

I think the drawing on this looks great, especially those waves at the bottom! Loving the character design too, especially Cap. Ahab(sp?). His yellow sorta duckbill lips are pretty friggin' awesome.

yup, still love it. i'm going to say again that maybe the red of the eye could be a tad brighter? and i agree with craigp(tezuka comparison!!) that maybe shortening the distance between the two might work. but again, this looks awesome.

Wow, Thanks everyone, I'm glad you all like, and Craig, I think a connection could be a good idea, I didn't even think of that. Thanks again folks!
