I wanted to show a more compassionate picture of Amy, where it shows regret and decay at the same time. I hope I nailed the likeness and the mood of the piece.

this is super subtle, but i like the drybrush effect for her eyeliner. good choice.
Michele - Many illustrators either show how amy was or how amy is in either a ridiculous way or a dark twisted way. I wanted to show that she was a human with regrets under all of the fame and tabloids of her drug addiction. I also wanted to show her decay into a slow demise. Your portrait is beautiful by the way.

poor amy nothing.
nice touch with the subtle colors and limited pallet.
Really nice work. Amy is fun to draw! However, I wasn't so forgiving with my rendition of her! ;)
Meaning - I think she reaps what she sows.
