Studios!

My Studio

Hi guys. I'm always really interested to see artists' studio spaces. I was thinking it'd be cool to take a look at other people's work spaces and share pictures of our studios.

I'm going to start it off with a panorama of my in-house studi0, any one who wants to join in is more than welcome! My place is pretty cluttered as usual. I draw, cut, and do physical stuff on my drawing table at the left (desk found on the street, drawing board is homemade) with drafting tools hung up on the wall. My digital station's on the right: working on a new macbook attached to a 19" monitor I got from a friend and a now beat up wacom tablet. My scanner/printer is weighed down my a non-functioning macbook that my cat destroyed by knocking a vase of water onto. I try to keep up interesting art in my studio, so you'll see samples from Alphone Mucha, James Jean, Sam Weber, Ed Kinsella, Edward Hopper, Tom Whalen, Mike Mignola, Jon Foster, Shelly Wan, Zelda Devon, Alex Eckman, Jon Bartlett, Bryan O'Malley, and any random design pieces I think are interesting. The funky red chair I actually got from UArts after they renovated the illustration department. Then of course I have a lot of rolly storage that act as flat files, hold paints, paper, wood, textures, etc.

Hope this turns into an interesting Autumn Society display- again, I'm really fascinated by people's workplaces. So, show'm if ya got'm.

Thanks guys, later.

Awesome, man. I'll be sure to post up some pictures once my studio is completely set up, right now it's a bit messy and incomplete, plus trying to work on things while moving stuff can cause delays as I'm sure you understand, but I think this is a really fun idea!

you guys are not ready for the filth that i live/work in. it's gonna blow your mind.

by the way, those are excellent choices for both fables and mystery covers.

Here's a website that you might be interested in: Where We Do What We Do even though the people are random.
