As much as I love Del Toro's take on Hellboy, I would love to see Mignola's masterpiece taken care of like this. Not in 3D necessarily, but possibly the way the Amazing Screw On Head was handled by Titmouse Studios. The plague of frogs is such a great concept! Anywho, I can't wait for this goon movie!
Is David Fincher directing this? I watched this video of all the CG work done on Zodiac and my mind was blown at how much compositing was done in that movie. I'd love to see Fincher go balls to the wall with a completely animated feature, especially The Goon of all things.

That animation looks amazing. Not to be creepy on a cartoon character, but I'm reaally loving those scars.
