holy shit. that's not a saber tooth tiger, but i love it anyway. i'd like to hold this and the pterodactyl painting that used to grace my mantel next to each other and see how far you've come. that ptero-face is blowing me away. he's got so much heft!

as always it's a strong composition too. i admire the balls it takes to put your signature out in the open like that.

Anthony, I am glad you tagged this as "badass" because when I do my daily searches for badassness, I want this to appear. This is one of the best pieces you have ever done.

James Gurney eat your fucking heart out.

thanks maryann but i leave the tagging up to chogrin, i would love it if gurney gave me nod of approval for this, i love that man, but i know he could do amillion times better.

Stabwell, thank you for comments as always, i cant wait to see your batman, i thought that corner could use something like another pterosaur or bird but i said f$&k it, so in a weird way the signature balances out the composition with a spot of brown down there.

PW. thanks for that i appreciate it, those are the guys who made me fall in love with art so im really glad you said that cause it means im on the right path.

If only you all realized that this was painted from a real photograph...as in yes, anthony confronted the winged daemons terrorizing the ippi-tu-otto tribe, and I snapped a photo...

This photo does not reveal you great color work.

Glad I was able to see your energetic brushwork close up.
