NC's Shadow

Hey guys. Here's another fun study I did while playing around with sketches. First and foremost- has any other artist done this? I did a search, and it seemed like an obvious choice for a parody, but I didn't find anything. So, if I'm late to the game here, let me know. Otherwise, enjoy some purple shadows. Thanks!

i think this is a great idea i would definitly go for it, it fits the beauty of the game really well. the closest i ve ever seen was a piece by james gurney "seaside romp" it wasnt a parody but he had to be influenced.

i love the reference buddy, and i think no one has done it because you are a clever and classical thinking guy. the people who really appreciate any of the Wyeths don't ever think (or dare) to cross over into parody and the rest of us illustration geeks get to clap out hands and gush (as i am here) at the reference and your idea.

reference aside, you made another fine painting here my friend
