It's really great to see the LTJ kid again, and it looks like he's grown a little bit. The cat poster is adorable, and I really like the screen printing effects on the No More Cover. stunning as always.
Is that his name, "Admat"? Nice touches with the pocketed Pez and puffy coat. There's some great textures on the 7". The poster reminds me of children's books that I used to check out of the library; the paper would be turning brown and they smelled liked dried urine. That cat is so full of dignity.
thank you all SO much for all your positive comments! sometimes you get tunnel vision and concerns that versatility is impossible to market to the fearful complacents in power, but other times i get hope.
Minder, i never heard of "ADMAT" until i was asked to do one, but apparently it is a versatile advertisement mostly to promote tours and bands. sometimes a huge poster, sometimes the tiny sidebar in the back of the weekly free paper. as far as i know, that little LTJ guys was, internally, refereed to as either the "Evo Kid" or the "LTJ Pez kid". never a name. the origin and impetus was just a fan letter when i was youngin', so the kid looks suspiciously a lot like i did in 10th grade...

They're each so unique.
I love the fact that his PEZ dispenser is inside his jacket pocket!
