Here is a new painting I did. Just having fun. Although the blue I used for the sky is from a new tube of paint that I just bought and it dried really weird. It kind of separated itself on the paper and looks really grainy. It's pretty annoying. looks like that's the last time I use that color. Dammit.-Drew

Looks good from here. I love how you did the netting on the balloon, and there's a nice sense of motion in the piece. Shame about the paint.

i think the sky looks good but it has to do what you want it to. i hate when i get suckered into buying some fancy art supply and end up wishing i was using the $1 kindergarten cakes instead
you're crazy, i think the grit in the sky looks awesome. though i'll agree with peter, it can be frustrating when you get a result you didn't expect/want.
it's a really nice piece though. nice strong composition.
I think the blue looks great as well. Though I can sympathize, I've had paint that has done that exact thing before too. It is annoying. But this looks great. Nothing wrong with a little texture.

this is AWESOME for real. i want that to be on my leg as well as the pirate and the octapus. for real i love it.
hey love it, drew. it's great to see new works from you. maybe you can keep the paint with the knowledge that it'll dry funky? it looks cool in the painting- might come in handy again. maybe. :o)
