All Hands on Deck

"Frostmourne"
18x24" oil on board

This is my piece for the All Hands on Deck show at Chapterhouse Gallery this month. I took this opportunity to do the first piece in my Arthas series, and with a theme like All Hands on Deck, I figured there should be a bit of the arctic sea and the frigid aspects of it would be a nice addition to the show. I've been really excited to see the work for the show and can't wait for the opening to see all of the work together!

i can't think of anyone else more qualified to paint a gnarly ass arctic blade. this is a sweet image and a more deep blue color scheme than i've seen you use. it's looking real nice.

If I was a generic Warcraft unit, I'd be glad to get my head chopped off by that. I love the glow from the runes, and the blade. Very awesome dude!
