This is the middle piece for Tom Leonard's independent study class I had last semester. The story he made up was of a girl who lived in a boring monochromatic world into a colorful one. We thought it would be ideal because the class was about getting better with acrylic paints. The transitions we came up with were:
Urban environment-organic
Drawn-painted
Monochromatic- full color
Thinned out acrylic-thick
Small-large
Being the middle piece, this one has about the same amount of each.
