Eulogy

"The Haunted Corners of Familiar Rooms"
8"X10"
acrylic on panel
Anthony Pedro 2010

Sometimes when a relationship dies, you cant escape the ghost of that person. Memories seem to follow and torture you everywhere you go. Your especially not safe in your own house. That's what this picture is about. Hopefully this exorcism helps me.

I agree with Sam. It's a fantastic painting, and reminiscent of those powerful, uncomfortable Andrew Wyeth pieces. Well done, man.

i also love this painting. it's like if de chirico learned how perspective works. that shadow, the pose, everything about that horse makes me uneasy and the house itself is painted really beautifully.

good goin, buddy
