THE ICONOCLASTIC DEAD
The Iconoclastic Dead is the Autumn Society's first show in Mexico, the first of many we are sure. The idea came about due to our love for Mexican traditions, specially for the "Dia de los Muertos" tradition.

In this show, Autumn Society members & special guests pay tribute to those Iconoclasts that made mark, would like brought back to life, or remember that they will die and try to immortalize them in this fashion.

What started in 2005 as an idea for a zine, became a collective of Illustrators, known as the Autumn Society in 2006.
The Autumn Society was born in Philadelphia (Pennsyvalnia), named by Sam Heimer & co-founded by Joseph Game (Chogrin).

Over the years the group has grown and spread its wings around the world. Artists from Mexico, England, New Zealand, Ecuador, France, and Brazil have joined the Autumn Society’s cause in presenting unique visual feasts throughout the internet, art galleries, events, and in various publications. The Autumn Society has become known and will rise to any creative need or challenge.

The Autumn Society has worked with world known galleries, groups, and companies like: Brave New Worlds Comics, Gallery 1988, Ground Kontrol, Meltdown Comics, The Mars Society, Toys for Tots,  Cartoon Network, Image Comics, Dreamworks, & King Features Syndicate.
The Autumn Society Mexico is part of the initiative of expanding the Autumn Society name and group worldwide. There's hundreds of talented people everywhere, and one of our main goals is to assemble these people all together into art galleries, books, and different events. The Autumn Society Mexico is run by German Orozco, Jorsh Pena, and Anita Mejia.

The Autumn Society is very proud to be here in Mexico, at Guru galeria, this month of October. It is truly an honor and dream come true to be in a place with such history and cultural richness. In this show you will find special guest artists like: Jorge Gutierrez (creator of El Tigre), Rhode Montijo (Pablo's Inferno), and Alberto Cerriteno (Illustrator Extraordinaire).

This was made possible with the support & help of German Orozco, whose leadership and determination has filled this show with special Mexican artists, decorations, art, and music! A special thank-you also to Jorsh Pena for bringing some great Mexican talent on board, to Guru for letting us be here, and to Chogrin for his dream & vision to expand the Autumn Society internationally.

If you're reading this right now, know that this show is true testament that any is possible through vision, hard work, love, and friendship. As we like quote the CHE, "HASTA LA VICTORIA SIEMPRE!"

The Autumn Society is always looking for new talent & crew members. Please join us @ WWW.THEAUTUMNSOCIETY.COM"

The Autumn Society ha trabajado con galerías, grupos y compañías mundialmente famosas como: Brave New Worlds Comics, Gallery 1988, Ground Kontrol, Meltdown Comics, The Mars Society, Toys for Tots, Cartoon Network, Image Comics, Dreamworks y King Features Syndicate.
