Saturday Morning Cartoons

I was asked to take part in a gallery show dedicated to a forgotton tradition...the Saturday morning cartoon marathon. Saturday mornings were what I lived for as a kid. I would glue my butt to the coutch from 8 to noon every saturday morning and loved every second of it. The kids today have no idea what they missed out on.

This show takes place at Ltd. Gallery in Seattle on Friday, July 19th. at 307 E. Pike St. If you can make it out I highly recommend you do, it should be pretty fun.

I chose classic Hanna-Barbera as my theme. I will have these 6 paintings for sale at the show. All are one of a kind 11" x 14" acrylic on canvas and will sell for only $100 each. \

why the hell would you do exact on-model- versions of these characters? Don't you have your own style? You're either ripping off Tom Whalen or doing terrible realistic portraits of actors that look like they have botox all over their face. Gotta practice more man. And that Oo-de-lally is a confusing artist name...
