"La Llorona was once a woman, until she turned crazy from jealousy of her husband cheating on her with another woman. Out of revenge and despair she drowns her own child and kills herself. Today she can be heard crying among rivers looking for her drowned child. She resides mostly around Mexico."
An Illustration of one my favorite folklore monsters, La Llorona. This is for the upcoming Tiki Machine Folklore book, put together by my friend Mike Collins.
