Beatles Rock Band Outro

Brought to my attention by my good friend Andrew Stiles, I give you yet another wonderfully animated cinematic short. It is truly a love letter to the Beatles by animator Robert Valley and background visuals from Alberto Mielgo (of the Gorillaz fame) for the Beatles Rock Band. I think this is so inspiring to any artist just because of the warm toned colors, and the way things move and interact with one another. A great way to start the day. Enjoy!

I Met The Walrus

My good friend Craig Parrillo recommended this amazing video merging a brief interview with John Lennon with some great animation behind it. The results are fantastic. Here's a brief description:

"In 1969, a 14-year-old Beatle fanatic named Jerry Levitan snuck into John Lennon's hotel room in Toronto and convinced him to do an interview. 38 years later, Levitan, director Josh Raskin and illustrator James Braithwaite have collaborated to create an animated short film using the original interview recording as the soundtrack. A spellbinding vessel for Lennon's boundless wit and timeless message, I Met the Walrus was nominated for the 2008 Academy Award for Animated Short."

Beatles Rock Band Intro

So I'll admit that I have been swept away by the recent "Beatlemania" and could not resist in sharing this amazing new animated opening sequence for the new Rock band game. Brough to you by animator Robert Valley and background visuals from Alberto Mielgo (of the Gorillaz fame). Enjoy!
