Dr Manhattan

Hey guys. So the Philadelphia Cartoonists' Society is putting on a show of Watchmen characters and I was happy to get that invite. I reread the book and this image of Dr Manhattan came into mind very clearly. I tried to keep it very designy, stoic, and mechanical. Pretty much all of my reference came out of anatomy textbooks, cause I mean, he's got this perfectly constructed body because I figure his would be an ideal machine of a body. Anyway, look forward to a finish and the show/book as well. The show should be at the end of September and I think we're selling a book of the pieces (to donate to a charity, I assume). Later

Dude, this is a great layout...I'm really excited for this show & project. The only nitpicky thing I might have to say is that the left arm / hand looks a bit small and not in proportion with the rest of the body. Also his nose seems to be going off to the left a little, maybe center it more...other than that, I can't wait for the finish!
