Summoner Of Demons...

Haven't posted here in a while. So, I'll drop in with this image. This guy in the red robes is a dark summoner of demons, he wears a glowing crown of magic obsidian... I imagine he's conjuring up some nasty stuff for Halloween.

UPSET UTROM!

I kinda figured Krang would be super angry if I drew his little his little mobility tripod like a hibachi... He looks plenty miffed to me... I'm still sketching and brainstorming a bit for the actual piece right now. I've got a few solid image Ideas, but, am waiting a day or so to see if anything else creative pops into my noggin. Sometimes choosing content for a showpiece can be challenging.. Lots of ideas, and very little time don't always mix.. Stay tuned...more to come...

Mini Death Knight Clans

I did this little animated thing for work last week...it was a hoot, and was good fun for sketching and working in flash (which I hadn't done in some considerable amount of time. I drew this original Knight sketch for the background of my animation project, and had him scroll past in the background. He was hardly on screen for a second.
But, I liked him so much that I turned him into these three little Variation Knight studies. They were lots of fun to doodle out. Furthermore, I'm also keen on Dan Paladin's work from Behemoth Studios so I put a little of my spin on some Castle Crasher's type dudes.. Check um' out.

Wow, The blog undergone some changes recently. I've not been keeping up very well, and I apologize to the society members for that... I'll try to get some more stuff and comments up here soon..
My recent kick of drawing heads and faces seems to be ongoing...Lots to play with in a very contained area of the body...

Lord of the Rings Sunday

FANKEE!?!

I was born in Detroit, and in being so I am a Tigers fan...
I was bummed at the way they mishandled their season, and the extra innings defeat they handed to the Twins.
I live in New York, and if I had to root for one of the teams here it would be THE METS...
So, After a some troubling news from MLB this weekend I've gotta sum up my feelings in two words....
GO PHILLIES..

Man Of Autumn...

Here's a little paint job on an old sketch I had floating around... I believe I drew it based on a homeless dude I spotted in a subway station some months back....It was warmer then and now that I think about it he was more fittingly dressed for this season. Perhaps he kept his winter clothes on to muffle the smell or maybe it was his way of carrying all that he owned...I dunno But, I did think about this as I painted the image. Makes me think about the hard months ahead...
