PLAYTIME! A SUCCESS!
The closing year show by The Autumn Society has come to an end and the results are in. The toy donation box was overflowing (in fact Brave New Worlds had to store the overflow of donations elsewhere until pickup day) for the local philadelphia chapter and the grand total of donations was $223!
Thanks to everyone who contributed work in the show, donated a toy, and helped make it happen. This was a great event and I hope next year is double the toys and double the participants. Thanks again and happy new year!

More than meets the eye...
Robots in disguise...
These are my pieces for the upcoming Autumn Society 80's toy themed show at Brave New Worlds Comics in Philly. The 80's was a glorious decade for toys, It was a time when parents would get into fist fights at 6 in the morning, freezing outside a Kiddie City a week before Christmas so they could grab a preemie Cabbage Patch Kid or a Soundwave Transformer for their little girl or boy, and Santa would get all the credit. I loved my Star Wars and GI Joe toys, but Transformers was awesome & let's face it, Gobots sucked.

Showdown on Grant Ave., 3:15pm
Here are my pencils for the piece i am doing for the upcoming art show at Brave New Worlds. Its entitled "Showdown on Grant Ave., 3:15pm" Its going to be three panels 13x19 making up this giant piece. i gotta hustle if i want to make the wednesday dropoff date.

The Final Universal Battle! (マスターズ/超空の覇者)
This is my contribution for Gallery 1988's "Under the Influence: He-Man and the Masters of the Universe show. I'm very excited and honored to be part of such an epic show, premiering Friday, January 8th in LA.
He-man and the masters are a big part of my childhood and have influenced me to this very day. From the original Filmation series, the toys, the 1987 live action film, to the 2002 animated series . A big thanks to Lou Scheimer and Mattel for creating this universe in the first place!
In my illustration I decided to finally conclude the epic struggle between He-man & Skeletor. Here's hoping that Bravestarr will get some spotlight in the near future as well. Hope you like and may the power of Castle Grayskull be with you!

Nutcracker Nesting Dolls
Just finished some Nutcracker nesting dolls. They're acrylic with oil paint on top. Took too long, but I like 'em. Happy Holidays!

Chewbacck Obama and some Munnys
Here's a bunch of stuff I've done over the past few weeks:
This was a dumb idea I had, more so just the name Chewbacck Obama, popped in my head for some reason. In order to get it out of my brain I drew this up and stenciled it on a 8"x10" canvas board.
Here's a Munny I made as a gift to my tattoo artist who's been hooking me up w/ some sweet free tattoos over the past few months. I wanted it to look like an old timey strong man w/a sweet mustache (made of craft foam). I gave him traditional styled tattoos which I drew on with Sharpies. Here's what he looks like from all angles.
This is a Mini Munny body which I attached a TV accessory from a regular sized Munny. The basic concept is "TV rots your brain." The Munny body was pink, and I masked out a brain pattern and then sprayed the whole thing red. The TV screen I painted w/ a textured gray to look like static.
This is a flyer for a show my new band BLOODTYPE is playing. It's the same day as the 80's show unfortunately. If anybody's gonna be in the area and wants to see me sing in a band, this would be your chance.
