Fantastic Tales of Greendale
Here's my piece for last month's massive Six Seasons and a Movie art show at Pixel Drip gallery in LA. The exhibition was an unofficial tribute to the show Community, which as many know is a fan favorite that NBC isn't quite sure what to do with.
Community is one of the only shows I still watch on TV, so I was thrilled to be a part of what turned out to be a huge event. The fan love for this show knows no bounds!

ParaNorman
I am super excited to reveal my official poster design for the upcoming stop motion flick, ParaNorman!
I was lucky enough to be included in the handful of artists asked to collaborate with the ParaNoman folks and Mondo to create a series of unique posters to promote the film. The designs have just been revealed on the official ParaNorman behind-the-scenes website WeirdWins.com, as well as the movie's Facebook page.
The actual posters have been posted in undisclosed locations across the US, with people encouraged to take photos whenever they spot one. I absolutely cannot wait to see some photos of these things in the wild. I'm guessing major cities are your best bet

Steve Martin Tribute
Here's my piece for the Steve Martin tribute show going on right now at Gallery 1988's Venice location.
I based it on what is quite possibly my favorite Steve Martin movie, Planes Trains and Automobiles.
You can buy a print of this piece here!

Oly Commission
Here's a commissioned drawing I did for a biochemistry student. He spends a lot of time in the lab and likes my character Oly, so he wanted a sciencey pinup of her with a few video game references thrown in.

I Can Has Meme Cards?
Here's my piece for the Memes
show currently up at Gallery 1988! The show is also a celebration of
the Gallery's 8th anniversary, so I'm thrilled to be a part of it.
I'm a fan of way too many internet memes to just pick one, so I came up with this trading card idea as a way of drawing all my favorites. The cards are actually standard trading card size on the prints, which you can buy here from the gallery.
Also, check out this video of opening night.

Marceline and Kim
This was a simple crossover idea I had based on the fact that Marceline from Adventure Time and Kim from Scott Pilgrim are sort of similar characters since they are both off-beat rocker girls.

The Real Ghostbusters
A new shirt design that you can vote on now over at Splitreason!
As a kid I always wondered why they changed certain aspects of the Ghostbusters appearance for the cartoon. Especially since they did a good job of linking the continuity of the two versions; even going so far as to explain why they kept Slimer around and changed their uniform colors. My little child brain couldn't decide if the Busters in the cartoon were really meant to be the ones from the movies or not. So this drawing is my idea of what it would look like if you combined the two.

Adventure Time art show at Mondo Gallery
I'm very excited to be a part of Mondo Gallery's officially sponsored Adventure Time art show that opens next Friday. I made an album cover sized version of my Marceline drawing for the event and did a very limited print run.
Here's the press release:

Paired with the themed gallery show Mondo will host an Adventure Time Marathon Screening and Feast at the Alamo Drafthouse South Lamar on Saturday, April 28 with series creator Pendleton Ward and Tom Kenny, the voice actor extraordinary who provides the voice of the Ice King, in attendance.

Penn & Teller
I caught Penn & Teller's stage show in Vegas a few months ago, and I created this drawing so I could give each of them a print after the show and have them sign one for me as well.

Tink
Here's the second piece I did for Acidfree Gallery's Fables and Fairytales show. I originally used it as an entry for a fairytale themed pinup contest, but I was bested by a very nice Cinderella illustration. I made a slightly new version for inclusion in this show, since I hastily made the original during a particularly busy holiday season a few years ago.
Prints of this and my Little Red Riding Hood piece are for sale here!

Big Bad & Red
Here's a new piece I created for the Acidfree Gallery Fables and Fairytales online exhibition. I did two pieces total, this one being based on Little Red Riding Hood. Prints will be available online at the end of the month, so I'll be sure to post when those go up for sale.
OMG Posters did a small writeup about the show which features more amazing fairytale artwork by several familiar artists, so check that out as well!
