Creeps of Christmas!

I bet some of you still long for Halloween
Don't fret and don't panic
Here's some yule tide songs to make you go manic!
Its called The Creeps of Christmas
And as you can see

Christmas Drawings

This year for Christmas I did these personalized drawings for each of my friends. I Mostly tried to create funny mash-ups of each person's interests, but some of them are plays on original characters or that person's own artwork.

Even though these were tailor made for each of my pals there are certain ones that I think have universal appeal, such as the Mario/Hellboy mash-up or the Jurassic Park piece. Some may not be clear without knowing the person, so if you're curious I've written about each piece in a ten part series over on my blog. Check it out if you'd like!

I made this little plush for my niece for Christmas and thought I would share it- hopefully I'll take some better photos soon!

8-Bit Jesus: Christmas Chiptunes Album

I'm not a big fan of shameless self-promtion, but I figured there are a lot of people who write / read this blog who would appreciate this.

8-Bit Jesus is my first album, which was released as a download last year for Christmas, then in January in physical form. The press didn't make it in time for Christmas, so this is the first chance everyone has to get it in time for Christmas.

There are 18 tracks on the album, plus a bonus track, and the price includes shipping. You can download half of the album for free right here, or listen to the full version and get your hands on the physical copy (with amazing album art by the very talented Jude Buffum) on the official 8-Bit Jesus page.

Also, there's a track that was never included on the album that you can check out here.

Thank you all for listening!

Christmas coming up

I'm making some Christmas cards and playing around with a lot of ideas. This is one of the ideas. Done in pencil/colored pencil.

Christmas in March?

So it's only 3 months late, but I finished my Munny ornament that I got for Christmas this year. I was aiming for a Grinch look. The white parts are made of felt, which gives it a cool texture. Now I just have to wait another 9 months to properly display it.

Generic Holiday Ornament

Every winter I make a holiday ornament for my friends and family. Mainly because I'm cheap, but it's something my grandmother would always do, so I try to keep the tradition alive. I try to keep it religion neutral, and more so focus on winter. I always use this craft foam, which is like 39 cents per sheet. This year's ornament is obviously a tree done with stencils in 5 pieces. I spray painted white on the bottom of the tree layers to give the illusion of snow. This is a picture of the prototype (or "test press" for you record collectors), the rest of them I used brown foam instead of painting the green foam brown.
