After These Messages
I posted this on my own blog a few days ago but forgot to share it with The Autumn Society. It's my newest chip-tunes collection, After These Messages, over 30 tracks inspired by classic TV shows, cartoons and commercials, all for a pay-what-you-want price!

Click the cover art above (by Jude Buffum) to get it!
"After These Messages is a collection of over 30 tracks inspired by classic TV shows, cartoons and commercials. Each track is arranged as the theme song for a theoretical 8-bit video game, much like titles found on the Nintendo Entertainment System. The full collection is available for a "pay-what-you-want" price and comes to you from the same artist that brought you 8-Bit Jesus. You can preview some of the tracks on Doctor Octoroc's YouTube channel. "

8-Bit Dr. Horrible (Act 1) is done!
I finished the first of three acts tonight so you can watch a high-quality Flash version on site or check out the video on YouTube. I can't say for sure when the next two acts will be finished but I will be working on them a lot so expect something within the next few weeks or so.
If you haven't heard anything about this project yet, it's an 8-bit re-creation of the online musical "Dr. Horrible's Sing-along Blog". Check out the links above to see it now!

8-Bit Dr. Horrible
For the past few weeks I've been working on a side project from my usual album tracks. I'm always thinking of things that should be or should have been Nintendo games (hence the next album being 8-bit arrangements of 80's and 90's TV shows and cartoons), and my most recent desire was to see a Nintendo game based on Dr. Horrible's Sing-along Blog.
This time around, however, I'm not just planning on re-creating the soundtrack in 8-bit glory - I'm also going to be creating an animation to go along with it, showing what a Dr. Horrible RPG might have been like for the Nintendo. Below is a link to a few tracks I've shared with the 8-Bit Collective and some "screenshots" from the game.
"My Eyes"
"Everything You Ever"

8-Bit Jesus: Christmas Chiptunes Album
I'm not a big fan of shameless self-promtion, but I figured there are a lot of people who write / read this blog who would appreciate this.
8-Bit Jesus is my first album, which was released as a download last year for Christmas, then in January in physical form. The press didn't make it in time for Christmas, so this is the first chance everyone has to get it in time for Christmas.
There are 18 tracks on the album, plus a bonus track, and the price includes shipping. You can download half of the album for free right here, or listen to the full version and get your hands on the physical copy (with amazing album art by the very talented Jude Buffum) on the official 8-Bit Jesus page.
Also, there's a track that was never included on the album that you can check out here.
Thank you all for listening!

Doctor Octoroc Creating Set For 8-Bit & Beyond

I'm planning on playing a mix of originals I've arranged, other artists that utilize chip-tunes and music straight from games in a mix. What I need to know is if there are any artists, games or particular tracks that you want to hear! Obviously, everyone expects to hear the Super Mario Bros. theme, or the overworld music from The Legend of Zelda, but there are plenty of obscure games I can throw into the mix and I'd like to officially open the floor for suggestions!
I may also have a request sheet at the show so people can circle games or tracks they'd like to hear. I may also do a raffle for CD's, but I'm not sure of my limitations at this point...
For any of the Genesis fans (curse you!), I've compiled a Sonic The Hedgehog medley...it's superdope.
