The Fisherman's Wife

Hey everyone, a little bit ago I posted about any willing artists doing these themed pieces at the same time. This is my sketch for the 1st project, "The Fisherman's Wife." It was partially inspired by the Real Pirates! exhibit at the Franklin Institute (featuring great Greg Manchess pieces), which is why I wanted to include the warning bell that was recovered from the sunken ship.

For this project I was hoping that people would have sketches on the 18th so I'm looking forward to seeing what everyone's gonna come up with! We're looking forward to seeing finishes for this one on September 1st and there's talk that if we get enough pieces an interests in the 2 projects after they're completed we can have an intimate little group showing of all of our work. But, we'll have to see. Later, all.
