St George & the Dragon

Hey guys. This is the 2nd part of the original collaboration project a few other people and I outlined in August, and the theme this time around is "Dragon." In some ways it can be much more literal because doing a dragon at all requires some imagination, being all fictional and what not. Regardless, I'm anxious to see if people step up with some awesome interpretations of the theme.

My sketch is based off of St George and the Dragon, but with a modern kid as the main character using a broken sword. I wanted it to be a little more actiony and dynamic because a lot of my work has been pretty quiet recently. Hope you guys dig it. Later.

This looks like it could be a great finish. The background is pretty loose, is it going to be in the same style of the foreground? It could be interesting if you did it in a stylized fashion, like how stained glass figures or statues in gothic cathedrals look.
