PROCESS: V-DAY Card

Hey everyone!
As some of you know, I do commercial Illustration for different companies from time to time. For the most part this type of Illustration has a super tight deadline (like 6-8 hours) to complete. So I thought I'd share the process for a promotional card I did for a design company, for Valentine's Day. This took me about 8 hours total with sketches, revisions, and prints. Enjoy!

This card is on my bulletin board,
I cant tell you how awesome i think it is, and it is even more impressive considering the tight deadline. Hats off to you, sir!

i really like this one, joe. it's cool to see your process also. and i hate to say it but i think i agree with you that it looked really nice with the lighter background. the finish still looks great though. definitely a strong portfolio piece.
