Darth Vader Sugar Skull


here's is my entry for the "dia de los muertos" show. i just couldn't resist adding a pop culture spin to it. enjoy!

not really any ddlm elements going on in here. pretty much a straight up star wars piece. i think pop culture has its place and this might not be a show to go 100% pop. i appreciate your skill and design, use of color. I think with the subject matter of this show there's a real chance to take every ones art work to a deeper level. I will argue the greatness of star wars any day, and i think this would work better for me if there were more ddlm elements, happening on that side, instead of a nabboo fighter maybe a flying skeleton horse, just an example, that kinda thing? Star Wars especially has lots of imagery concerning physical death being a formality and greater forces at work, could work that angle as well. lemme know what you think.
