My Dia de los Muertos piece is a tribute to one of the best Luchadores of all time, el Toro Rojo! Sadly, Rojo had his last fight in 1984. Viva El Toro Rojo!
joe's piece, at last! you kept me in suspense but it was well worth the wait. that white really pops, man. you've found some clever ways to get a lot of depth out of flat graphic work.
yeeHAW! i lovingly would argue about who the greatest luchador is...but there's no debate in what a marvelously designed piece this is! it makes you fee l like a super hero just looking at it! what's really cool too is the soft aspects here when it would be too obvious to have it all sharp 'busting out' feels. you have all the cool radials but the roundness of it all still makes it forceful somehow. the butterfly shapes, the cobra crowns, the excellent candles, the impossible rubber perspectives, it stretches more than it bursts and it's just totally original. well done again sir!

This reminds me of that episode of that cartoon we watched once, el tigre.Cool beanses!
Gracias amigo! That show is definitely a big inspiration. Jorge Gutierrez and Sandra Equihua are some of the best around right now.
Muy chévere!!!
