The Art of Adventure Time - Part 1

Making a cartoon is a lot of work and involves many different processes. From storyboards, character/background/prop/effects design, inking (clean up), coloring, to many other important tasks. Its all broken down scene by scene and episode by episode.

This applies to most cartoons, including the one I'm working on at Cartoon Network Studios called Adventure Time. A lot of this process is nicely documented and shown on the Adventure Time Blog over at Frederator. Take a look by clicking the image below:

"Ghostshrimp and Santino Lascano are the show’s background designers, Martin Ansolabehere and Sandra Calleros handle the painting. Nick Jennings is the art director, while Pat McHale is the creative director"

• Description: Robocop, the classic 1987 Paul Verhoeven science fiction (sci-fi) police crime dystopian future thriller ("Part Man, Part Machine, All Cop."; "The Future of Law Enforcement."; "Written by Edward Neumeier & Michael Miner") starring Peter Weller (in the title role as Robocop/Officer Alex Murphy), Nancy Allen, Daniel O'Herlihy, Ronny Cox, Kurtwood Smith, Miguel Ferrer, Paul McCrane, Robert DoQui, and Ray Wise
• Important Added Info: Note that pressbooks were prepared prior to a movie being released. Often, changes would be made in a movie advertising campaign (billing of actors, different images, etc.), and the theaters would print up special supplements that they would send out with the pressbooks that had already been printed. These supplements are very rare, far more rare than the pressbooks themselves! Some pressbooks would have no supplements, some would have one, and some would have several. we have provided an image of the front and back covers of this pressbook (if the back cover is not the poster page, we photographed the interior poster page), and of course, the winner of this auction will receive the entire single pressbook we are auctioning (plus any supplements or heralds described above)! Also note that this pressbook is complete and uncut! Given that theater owners purchased pressbooks partly in order to create their newspaper advertising, and quite frequently cut them up for that purpose, it is rare to find a pressbook that is complete and uncut!
• Condition: very good to fine. Fair Used Condition. I am unable to test these records. Appear to be in fair shape with no gouges or broken areas. May have light surface scratches.
