Tatooine Raider acrylic on panel 9" X 12"
Sometimes you don't have to go nuts for reference. A bathroom towel, scarf, work gloves, and swiffer sweeper handle proved to make a sufficient Tuscan Raider Costume. (*note embarrassing things in my bedroom, and i have no sheets only a sleeping bag. I figured I'd call myself out on that before any one else did). Also some pics I shot at the Star Wars show at the Franklin Institute. I felt it was bad enough I was creating an image of something someone else created so It was real important that I didn't just rely on images from the web, I really wanted to get into the feel of the piece.

Damn dude, this is gorgeous...your friend is one lucky SOB! And now for a Star Wars tribute show. Ha!
P.S. Awesome Etnies, I used to have a pair of them too!
Very beautiful work! Congrats to you and your friend!
man, i'd even frame your reference shots for this. another winner for sure. that color palette is perfect, and has a little N.C. in it i'd say. also, clever use of the two suns
Damn, man. This is fantastic! I bet this one is quite a gem looking piece in person. You killed it on this one.
