Finn Vs The Ice King!

My piece for the Adventure Time fan art book the peeps at Cartoon Network are putting together. I love this show and had fun making this one...

Sonic Vs Robotnik

The piece is created for Geek-Art's 'Final Round' video game show at the 'Made in Asia' convention. 30th-31st March and 1st of April 2012 @ Palais des Expositions of Bruxelles.

I've been experimenting with 'HyperCam' to record me making one of my digital prints. The settings must be bung because the quality is a bit shit but you get the idea... also it's a touch too long so feel free to skip through...

G is for Gizmo!

The latest in my ABC series...
So if your air conditioner goes on the fritz or your washing machine blows up or your video recorder conks out. Before you call the repairman, turn on all the lights, check all the closets and cupboards, look under all the beds. 'Cause you never can tell there just might be a gremlin in your house."

SKC is seeking either fanart pin-ups and/or short comics featuring Strange Kid as the main protagonist. The plot or artistic style of each submission will be solely at the discretion of the artist, suffice that they adhere to the most identifiable aspects of the character (namely his blue pompadour hairstyle, red and white striped t-shirt, lack of pupils and braces). Sample images are available online here.

Prayer to Mothra

"If we were to call for help, over time, over sea, like a wave, you'd come"
8"X10"
acrylic on panel

This picture features Mothra (or Mosura) in her larval stage headed toward Tokyo Bay to answer a distress call by the Shobijin (small fairy twins who can communicate with Mothra telepathically). The title of the painting is part of Mothra's prayer or song the Twins sing to contact Mothra. Mothra often aids as an ally to Godzilla but more often an enemy and worthy adversary to the "King of Monsters"

I had a tons of fun painting this, more then I thought I would, something about a giant worm crashing through the waves to cause destruction I guess. But I really had more fun hanging out watching Godzilla movies for research, Hope fully soon I would like to a King Ghidorah piece!!

LOST by Ghostshrimp

I couldn't help myself from posting this, when Ghostshrimp posted it on my facebook. As some of you know Ghostshrimp is one of the background designers on Adventure Time, along with Santino Lascano. I'm also a huge LOST fan. If you're LOST fan too, you might want to check out Gallery 1988's recent LOST art show here.

the Ice King Cometh

Here is my tribute to the new TV show Adventure Time, which premieres on Cartoon Network in April. This was done with one stencil by layering various colored sprays over each other.
