This picture features Mothra (or Mosura) in her larval stage headed toward Tokyo Bay to answer a distress call by the Shobijin (small fairy twins who can communicate with Mothra telepathically). The title of the painting is part of Mothra's prayer or song the Twins sing to contact Mothra. Mothra often aids as an ally to Godzilla but more often an enemy and worthy adversary to the "King of Monsters"
I had a tons of fun painting this, more then I thought I would, something about a giant worm crashing through the waves to cause destruction I guess. But I really had more fun hanging out watching Godzilla movies for research, Hope fully soon I would like to a King Ghidorah piece!!
