HellGoon and Frank Sapien

My friend and amazing artist Cecil Porter's http://www.cecilportertattoos.com birthday was coming up and I wanted to sculpt him something. His two favorite Comic books were Hellboy and The Goon. I couldn't decide which one to sculpt so I just did them both...in one! Click HERE to see the full photo set.

COVERED

Featured on Robert Goodin's 'COVERED' blog is a new remake piece I created after the legendary Sal Buscema.  Sal is one of my favorite comic book artists especially his run on The Spectacular Spider Man series.

Check it out here!

Comment on the post after the link... even if you hate it.

Don't forget to check out more great remake covers as well!!!

Strange Kid Comics

That's right! I will be doing a comic strip for the Strange Kids Club. I was really excited to create a comic for the anthology but this should prove to be even cooler. This St. Patrick's Day strip is the first one, so SKC proprietor Rondal Scott and I will be getting a feel for the project as we go along.

You can see the official post here on the Strange Kids Club website, and you can pre-order the upcoming anthology here. I know it features the work of quite a few Autumn Society members so I'm really excited to check it out.

Hey there everyone! I'm very proud to announce that the gang at Strange Kids Club is now offering pre-orders on our first ever comics anthology!

Each artist has contributed both their talent and time to create this giant-sized; not to mention it features a comic by upcoming Strange Kid webcomic artist by Glen Brogan, an interview with our cover artist Brent Engstrom (a veteran Topps artist behind Topps Garbage Pail Kids trading cards), and special prizes with every copy of the book - all for only $7 bucks!

Math Fiction Release

THIS WEEKEND

you can see sh*t like this in 3D!

WHAT?

oh. DUH!

debuting at the Brooklyn Comics and Graphics Fest!

this is what i've been working on all fall!

it has 4 new stories in the genre of Math Fiction! each weirder then the last!

what is Math Fiction you ask?

well it's kinda like if GOD was just a bunch of numbers the size of a galaxy floating around the universe and created worlds where barbarians roam the wastedlands with mind reading powers that let them see in 6 different dimensions at once, all this is happening while in space entire races of beings, that eat quantum physics for breakfast, walk around doing uni-mind tasks that take billions of light-years to do just for fun. it of course can only be viewed in 3D.
its like Heavy Metal if it were still cool and drawn by me and my friends.

stats
16 pages of comics by Pat Aulisio, Josh Burggraf, Ian Harker, and Will Cardini
Printed in 3D (glasses included)
2- color silk screened cover
oversized 11x17
$15

also debuting at my table is SECRET PRISON 3! another great issue with mind blowing artists of course.
