HellGoon and Frank Sapien

My friend and amazing artist Cecil Porter's http://www.cecilportertattoos.com birthday was coming up and I wanted to sculpt him something. His two favorite Comic books were Hellboy and The Goon. I couldn't decide which one to sculpt so I just did them both...in one! Click HERE to see the full photo set.

New print for Bottleneck Gallery's "Cant' Beat Em, Join Em" zombie themed show which opens tonight and runs through October 28th. Bottleneck is a great new gallery in brooklyn that donates a chunk of every show's earnings to a different charity. I'm happy to be a part of this months show which is working to help support The American Red Cross.

This is a four color print measuring about 10" x 15" and is inspired by the movie  Zombie Land. Its in an edition of 35. For more info on the show please visit: www.bottleneckgallery.com

Also, next week Countdown to (En)Danger opens in Philadelphia's own B2. ALL proceeds from this show go to benefit the World Wild Life Fund. Show open on Saturday October 13th at 6pm and runs for about a month. The show was put together by Ryann Casey and Josh Robeson and if its anything like their previous charity shows, this should be a lot of fun. For more info please visit: worldwildlife.org or Facebook.com/worldwildlife

Had a lot of fun working on this print. Its four colors and is about 12" x 19". And again, all proceeds from this show go to the WWF.

Jeffro's Walkin' Dead-Inspired Shirt on ShirtPunch July 13

Friday the 13th (spoooooooooooooooooooo-ky), for one day only, Shirtpunch.com will be selling a shirt I designed inspired by one of the greatest and brutal comics of all time. The design features a cute version of everyone's katana-weilding zombie slayer and her two docile pets. Shirts cost only $10 bucks and are gone in 24 hours. Great for zombie-maniacs, dog walkers, and friends who like to wave sharp objects around. To visit the website, click HERE.

Another 48 hours...

So we recently competed in the 48hours film comp down here in New Zealand where teams create a short film in just 48hours, it's the 3rd time the 3 of us have done it and by far the film we're the most proud of. We made it all the way to the Grand Final, with some help from Sir Peter Jackson (as one of his 'wild card" picks) where we took out 3rd Place overall and 'Best Animation'! So feel free to pass it around if ya dig it...

Monster Creeps

Glen Brogan (www.albinoraven.com)

My piece for the upcoming Monster Creeps show (monstercreeps.blogspot.com)!

I was only vaguely familiar with the movies when I got the invite for the show, though I knew of some friends who had fond childhood memories of Monster Squad. After watching the movies and doing some research I came up with this piece, which will make absolutely no sense to anybody who isn't familiar with the films, hah. You can check out more of the art for the show HERE.

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!

I know it aint just me who has a major jones for some Halloween. Just the other day, walking home from home, I could've swore I smelled it in the air. In any case, for the holiday, I have turned our drab cover image into a depiction of the walking dead! In the meeting, someone asked if we could make Toomey into a Zombie, and all eyes turned to me as I doodled a picture of Bart Simpson on my notes.

For the more normal inside story, I whipped up a few cartoon versions of the forehead himself, depicting various points from the text. COLLECT EM ALL!

Peep more of my crap HERE.

Zombie Apocalypse

Hi everyone!

first off, it was AWESOME getting to see everybody at the 3G show last Friday night. I had such a blast being a part of such an amazing group of art and artists, and meeting some fellow Autumn Society artists!

Can't wait for the next show!! : D

Anyway, I wanted to do a little bit of promotion for a music video that my husband and I just finished for the band Kirby Krackle; "Zombie Apocalypse." My husband, Damon O'Keefe, did all the directing and character design, and I did all the color/texture. We both worked on the animation together.

Anyway, felt like it would be appreciated here!! Thanks, and if you like it, please share with your friends!! : D

Wow I'm finally posting some art on The Autumn Society blog, and I guess its only fitting that my first post would be a Zombie Samurai. Nothing gets you ready for Halloween more than painting the Zombies!

So I should probably introduce myself... I'm Reau and I paint stuff like this

Pride & Prejudice & Zombies!

I recently got asked by the Philly Spells Writing Center to do some posters for their upcoming "The Zombie Talent Show FUNdraiser" event based on the "Pride & Prejudice & Zombies" book. Here's the graphic I came up with and used it for the first poster. In the second poster, I basically used the same type, but with a different color scheme, texture, and graphics provided from the actual book.
