I don't think anyone posted this here yet, but let's try to get a strong Autumn Society showing at this. It's for a great cause...unless you hate cats.
It's that time of year again! City Kitties is thrilled to announce our 3rd Annual Art Auction on Friday, May 28th at Studio 34. We need YOUR help to make it a success!
Here's how the event works: 50+ amazing artists donate 100+ pieces of original art to City Kitties, and we throw a huge party and auction it off to the highest bidder--all to benefit stray cats and kittens in West Philly. The auction is a great opportunity to collect original artwork including photographs, paintings, drawings, sculptures, metalwork, and more. And for just $5 at the door, you can enjoy live entertainment, free food and drinks, and a rockin' party.
But first, we need your help finding generous artists to donate their work to help stray cats and kittens! Artists can be students, amateurs/hobbyists, or professionals working in any medium. City Kitties will provide artists with an in-kind donation acknowledgment letter for tax purposes (if desired), and we will display one piece of their work in a show at Studio 34 during the month of May.
Deadline for work to be included in the show: April 30th (Piece should be framed or otherwise prepared for display and include the hardware necessary to hang it--hooks, wires, etc.)
Deadline for work to be included at the auction: May 23rd
How to donate if you live in or near Philadelphia: You can drop art off at one of three locations on the days listed below. Please email the contact person to schedule a drop-off. If you are unable to drop off art, if you need to schedule another drop-off time, please email info@citykitties.org.

Look at you, posting this before me! Are you putting work in? I will be. Yay, good cause!
P.S. all, they're a 501c non-profit, and you can get documentation for a tax benefit if you file taxes regarding your work. Just sayin'.
