this is awesome Steve. your painting is really awesome, and there's mark making that gives it added depth. i mean, when i stare at everything from the hands down (and i love those hands) i am genuinely lost in a confusing geometric depth or facets to the ice. it's cartoon cubism
your quasi-cubist tree is still a favorite of mine. i was sad when i met you at Uarts portfolio day and you were offering gorgeous prints of it, but without the perfect green leaf brush marks.

Ha thanks a lot man. I thought the Ice King would be a good subject to unleash the faceting on.
