I'm very excited to finally be releasing this book cover for Donovan Irven's first novel, Two Days of Dying. More photos and info on my site, available for sale on Amazon and also in a Kindle edition. It also happens to be the inaugural book published under our imprint, Streisguth | Martin.

Jasper

Recently finished this print for Masthead Print Studio's Monster Show: Year Two here in Philadelphia. Jasper is a hand-printed linoleum block, 11x15, edition of 33. Printed 70% gray ink on 20% gray Rives paper. There's process shots on my blog, and I still have a handful available for purchase.

Hey Autumn Society! 

It's been a while since my last post, but that's only because I've been busier than ever before. Lots of stuff for the Bongo Zeptobrewery, and a handful of shows.

Notably, Anthony Pedro invited me to participate in the Age of Reptiles show at Paradigm Gallery recently. I'm finally getting around to posting my piece on here; process shots on my blog.

The opening had a fantastic turnout, and I'd like to thank everyone for coming to see it.

8-Bit Calavera

Here's my submission for the 8-Bit Calavera Show. I haven't fought with a painting like this in a while; the ridges were a struggle and I was having a hard time improvising off of a sketch that I really liked. All in all, I'm finally really happy with the outcome.

Updates!

Hey all, been a little too long since I've put anything up on here (or online in general), but it's for a good reason; autumn has been keeping me really busy. I love the change to cooler weather, the summer makes me lazy and sluggish. Anyhow, I just had a show with Linnea Vegh at the VWVOFFKA Gallery on Frankford Ave. It will be up through the end of the month; more info on my blog. Also, major updates to my website. And I'll be part of the Monster Print Show at the Masthead Gallery next weekend. Oh yea, and I'm part of an Alumni Exhibit at the University of the Arts on the 17th floor of the Terra Building (Broad and Walnut St). To top it off, I'm working on a piece for the 8-Bit Calavera Show. More on that later.

Dirty

you should all check out the new FREE Philly-based art magazine, dirty, which i art directed.
it has 3 pages of comics by secret prison alums Beth Heinly, Ian Harker, Box Brown, and head ink answerer James t. Arnold, and of course me (Pat Aulisio).

As well as other artists featuring fellow autumn society members Brad Haubrich and Steve Streisguth.

it was a fun thing to put together, and they came out super sexy! nice thick glossy paper with a sewn binding!!

Fellow Philadelphians, watch for it at all the cool coffee shops, bars, record stores, and art galleries! ITS FREE!!

A few new things

Here are a few new pieces for an upcoming art mag (more info soon), as well as piece from a group show that is up right now at 1601 Bar featuring myself, Matt Phillips, and Linnea Vegh. The bar is at 4th and Tasker, and the food and drink specials are really nice. That's five good reasons to check it out.

Solo Show

I'm really excited to finally be able to announce my first solo show at TrickGo Gallery next Friday, the 28th. I've been working on this for a little while now, so I haven't wanted to post too much new stuff online and spoil the surprise. Also featuring 2 limited edition shirts (american apparel, of course). Special thanks to Matt and everyone over at TrickGo for helping to make this happen.

Oh yea, the poster is a lot more intense at 11x17, I promise.

Adventure Time!

Finally got my Ice King tribute finished! I love all the Adventure Time pieces on the site, you all rock.

Cosby Show

Just finished up this piece for the Cosby show this weekend, and boy am I excited about it. One color screenprint, about 8x10", printed with chocolate pudding. Straight up chocolate pudding. Turns out pudding has a nice elegant color to it, and I'm sure this print is also a scratch-and-sniff to boot. Happened to be a bit lighter than I expected, so I'm glad I didn't go for butterscotch.

Heart Earth submission

Finally got my Heart Earth submission together, just in time. This one is a linoleum block print with watercolor. I think I have enough prints (sans watercolor) to be able to try selling a few at the opening.

First Autumn Society post

I meant to post this last week, but everything has been pretty hectic. The Ely Show was amazing, and I'd like to say congratulations to everyone in my department for an incredible display of work and talent.

This poster was commissioned by my buddy Chaz Flud, who is a very talented composer and also a fellow New Jersey-an. It's going to be showing May 7th and 8th, and will be my first ballet ever.

Also, thank you Chogrin for inviting me to participate in this community. I'm really looking forward to seeing the upcoming Joker show, it's going to be great.
