Dirty issue 1

Wanted to share some new work I did for the first issue of "Dirty" magazine, curated by Pat Aulisio in conjunction with Pterodactyl Philadelphia. Anyways, I got to do the artwork for the cover and few of the interior pages. The cover is first, then the second image is entitled "Midnight in the Garden" and the third image is entitled "Family."

Made In America : A Native Exhibition

Over the past couple of months I have had the pleasure of working with my friends Yis and Leah to put together easily the largest group show that I have ever been a part of. "Made In America: A Native Exhibition" features over forty artists/friends all contributing work loosely based on this interesting country of ours. We chose this theme because we wanted something culturally relevant, yet broad enough for folks to have varied reactions and through their respective media. The opening reception will take place on June 4th at the TRUST Gallery (formerly the F.U.E.L. Collection, and the Real World Philadelphia house before that) and will go from 6 -10 pm. There will be live performances by: Dragonzord, Tigersapien, and Univox!

Usha Veda Yoga

Hey Guys, above is a logo and a poster I recently completed for yoga studio up in Brooklyn (called Usha Veda Yoga). The client had a pretty good idea of what they wanted for the logo, and then they left the poster assignment pretty much up to me. I just wanted to share it because I like how they turned out. Thanks.

Time Over Intensity Moleskin Design

I was recently invited to compete in a contest for moleskin designs by Meninos, an on-line store that sells alot of crazy stuff (I like this and this alot). Anyways, my design is called "Time Over Intensity" and this is how I describe it on their website:

This design is visual representation of how thoughts and concepts may intensify upon further reflection. It is dedicated to all of the thinkers, searchers, doodlers, writers, and daydreamers of the past, present, and future.

PAPER BLOG "alot of new stuff by Bradford Haubrich"

Hot on the heels of Paper Heart, comes the completely un-affiliated PAPER BLOG "alot of new stuff from Bradford Haubrich" (sorry Jacky/Avalon, didn't mean to name it so similar, I had this idea in my head for awhile). This show marks the first time I will be showing my recent mixed-media works on paper, and also my first t-shirt collaboration (shown above) with TrickGo Clothing. I made alot of stuff for the show, and I am cordially inviting everyone from the Autumn Society to come and hang out/catch up. I will also be raffling off some stuff towards the end of the night such as: books, zines, drawings, and a pair of one-off keds that I designed and had made (womens size 8.5, but they are still really cool if thats not your size). Below is the event info:

Animation for Chef Ann / thelunchbox.org

Above is the result of my second collaborative project with Oscar Productions. This go around we created a short animation for Chef Ann and her website www.thelunchbox.org. Chef Ann's mission is to get healthy food into our school's lunchrooms across America, along with educating parents, teachers, and kids about the many dangers of a bad diet. This animation is also being circulated to raise awareness of the National School Lunch Act, which congress will be voting on sometime in the coming year. I am extremely proud to have produced all of the artwork for this animation, and I would like thank Ian and Pete at Oscar Productions, and Brent Williams of WMG/Black Spider.

I will be posting updates concerning any breaking news of the National School Lunch Act, so be sure to check back to my blog. Thanks again.

The Hype Cycle (highsnobiety.com x me)

Over the summer I started working on an editorial project for the mens clothing / street wear blog
highsnobiety.com that was just published on their website today. The project consisted of one large illustration and eight spots, ultimately put together in the layout above and included in the article. They both illustrate the cycle of how vintage style sneakers go from worshiped to buried to re-discovered and then of course re-hyped on blogs. I would like to thank both Chris and Nick Schonberger of highsnobiety.com for giving me the chance to work on this awesome collaboration.

check out the awesome article that also has pictures of my work and stuff desk here

Thanks!
Brad
