Heeby Jeeby Comix

Greetings, Autumn Society!

Joe asked if I'd introduce myself to group and talk a little about a project I've started called Heeby Jeeby Comix.

I'm Bob Flynn—you may have seen my work on Jinx the Monkey, or my blog, Drip! I work by day as an animator and game designer for FableVision Studios in Boston, and I draw comics by night.

Heeby Jeeby started as a collaborative blog between a few of my cartoonist friends: Chris Houghton, David Degrand, and Dan Moynihan. We set out with the simple idea to bring back the wonder and weirdness that is sometimes missing from comics these days—especially for kids! As the name suggests, the comics tell of unusual and bizarre stories—a cartoony blend of cute, funny, and creepy.

Here are a few of the one-pagers I have in our first issue, which is available for purchase on ComiXpress, our print-on-demand distributor.
Be sure to stop by the blog (heebyjeebycomix.blogspot.com), as we post new comics pretty regularly. And thanks!
