Kids illustrations

Here are some samples from a series of illustrations for kids i did recently. Lots of fun creating the characters and environments of the different story's.
Cheers!

Chichén Itzá + Kukulkán

Whats up Autumns!, here is a recent illustration i did for "Desierto Urbano" Publication here in México. The main theme was to represent the ancient "Maya" myths and the beginning of the Spring season (the new Sun). In the Maya temple (Chichén Itza) the Sun projects a shadow that creates the illusion of a descending God Snake called Kukulkán. This is my take with the "real" living Gods Snakes. Hope ya like it! Cheers!

Daniel Terán Illustrations

Hello,

My name is Daniel Terán. I am a professional illustrator and conceptual artist from Sonora, Mexico. I love to illustrate any kind of commissions involving the challenge of creative conceptual illustrations and character designs.

I enjoy working with different tools and media (traditional and digital), and always explore new aspects of artwork, as well as learning the process. I like to keep learning and not to be limited by one media or tool as an artist. If you like to see more of my work please visit me at: www.danielteran.com

Offset Posters and Prints will be available very very soon!
