More Wonder Woman Puns

These are a few more of the pieces from the series one Punder Woman blind prints.  There are few things that are more fun than painting girlie pics and puns at the same time.

If you're interested, prints are still available here:

Wonder Woman pun prints

Chunder Woman.
Best not to Google "chunder".

I did my two favorite things at once : made puns and painted colorful pinup art.  They're blind packs.  I got the idea from Mike Mitchell and his Super Series + blind box toys.  If the prints move well enough I have a list of a few hundred jotted on post-its and stuck to things around the house.  Wonder Woman is the best.

More deets are listed at the LTD art gallery site.

Recently finished piece for Gallery 1988's Crazy 4 Cult 6.
18x24 prints are available here: Gallery 1988

It took weeks, but I'm glad to have spent that time on such a rad subject.

Blondes Make Great Tragic Heroines

As was mentioned by a few of the amazing artists on the Autumn Soc.  Many of us participated in a Fairy Tales show "at" AcidFree Gallery, an internet gallery/printer that curated the show.  I finally had a chance to paint Sleeping Beauty and Alice for a reason.  I hope you dig.

If you look closely, the door is supposed to be like a gaping mouth.

You can check out the  Sleeping Beauty print here:

Carlos Araujo in American Illustration 29

Hello everybody!

I would like to share a good news with you guys... My illustration "Rampage" was chosen to be part of the American Illustration 29! I'm very happy to be part of it...!

Inspired by the mood of old sci-fi comic book adventures and initially created for self-promotion, Rampage was so popular that I decided to make it available as a high quality, Giclee print (18,7" x 24,6").

People who are outside Brazil and are interested in buying a Rampage print, please send me a message: carlos[at]silbachstation[dot]com

See ya!
