New Work

I just finished up the last images from a series I started a couple of months ago that's loosely based on child hood/teenage memories. All the images have a particular meaning to them that relates to a story, but what I like about each of the images is how you can appreciate them without the text. Even create your own meaning for them. You can check out more images I've made on my website.

I am creating a bunch of paintings for myself, that are focusing on incorprating painted typography, and adding more relatiable personal experiences in the pieces themselves. To do this I plan on painting them using surrealistic metaphores to bring the viewer relating in some way or another to the works of art.

This is the first in many paintings that are going to take on this approach.

such "boring" things but I had fun with it.

Xxplosive

This is the final version of 'Xxplosive' featured in the Labyrinth Wall themed show at Exit Art.  Painted with acrylic on a wood panel.  The Labyrinth show will travel after February 7, 2009 and will be auctioned off after that.
