Got to work on a great project last week. I was asked by Sidewalk Atlas, a local band here in Philly, to design a new t-shirt for them. They asked me if I was interested in doing a fun, post-apocalyptic theme for the image. I said sure, twist my arm!

The design is three colors printed on a purple t-shirt. It may look like the robots are destroying the city for no reason but I prefer to think that they are looking for a lost kitten.

The band is taking orders for the shirt here. You can also check out their new album which is definitely worth a listen (and a purchase) here. For more info visit sidewalkatlas.com

Here's my piece for the upcoming Rockets, Robots, & Ray Guns! show this Friday. Check it out!
"Space Girl"
12" x 18" archival print

I had so much fun on this one. Thanks for the opportunity. Does it get any better than rockets, robots, and ray guns? Only if there are sexy ladies.

We are the robots...

"...We're functioning automatic,
and we are dancing mechanic!"

-Kraftwerk

These shiny happy little guys were done for a create-a-card set put out by Mudpuppy. When they contacted me to do this project and design a bunch of my own robots, i said "affirmative!"... that's robot speak for "yes". If anyone is interested in getting a set of these guys check out the Mudpuppy site.

MY TURN TO WIN

Hey guys,
I once again had the privilege to work with the awesome Philly/Jersey hardcore band MY TURN TO WIN. If you are into hardcore, you probably know who they are and if you don't, you should. Great band. Great people. Also, they wanted an giant octopus battling a giant robot on the cover! How could I say no?

ImagineFX

Mmm. Glossy print.
Over a year ago I was contacted by the folks at ImagineFX, a major fantasy and digital art magazine, about having my work featured in an upcoming issue. This is a magazine that I’ve bought for my own use, so I was pretty thrilled. With past contributors like Joao Ruas, Justin Sweet and John Howe I was proud to be invited to have my work on its pages. I believe this issue is in stores in May, so check it out at you local book store that also has a pretty big magazine section.

As a side note, I recently took down my site and rebuilt it in an even more spartan, bare bones manner. I'd love to know what you guys think, so check out www.timdurning.com. Thanks!

Rock 'Em Sock 'Em...

This is my contribution to the Philly Cartoonist Society's "Domo Arigato: Robot Show" at Brave New Worlds Comics!

It's my first attempt at designing a screenprint. Did it as limited edition print run of 60 on this cool speckletone paper to help give it that vintage look.

Show Opens: Friday, May 7th 6-9pm and runs the month
