Adventure Island

"Death from Above"
Watercolor & Ink

Not to be confused with Adventure Time. I used to have fond memories of renting the three games (well, only the 2nd and 3rd installments. The first game was throw-your-controller-across-the-room-insanely-hard) back in my youth. I knew I had to do the game justice by choosing it. I had so much fun creating this, I even included a process to this piece over at my blog, even though its pretty standard.

UDON Mega Man Art Tribute Book

So awhile back, I entered a Mega Man art tribute contest that Capcom & UDON Entertainment put together. I made the below image, and really didn't think I'd get pick, but I was proven wrong on that note.
Now with the book premiering at Comic Con in San Diego next week, they're encouraging all the winners to not be secretive about posting their work (legal reasons I think. Technically, what I made belongs to them now.)

"Toadman's Day Off"

Oh yeah, they also wanted some book promo jargon here, so here goes:

MEGA MAN TRIBUTE LIMITED EDITION HARDCOVER
-the book is premiering at the San Diego Comic-con at the UDON booth (#5037), July 20-24
-for fans not attending the show, you can preorder the book at UDONstore.com

MEGA MAN TRIBUTE SOFTCOVER
-The standard softcover edition is also available for preorder on amazon.com

I ♣ O'Neil

"SHRED THE GNAR!"

Just because you're a misunderstood mutant snapping turtle, doesn't mean you can't shred and get giddy on the news lady like the rest of the gang.

Fondle's Sluggers

Hey guys. A bit delayed, but with the extended deadline for the Sullivan's Sluggers pin-up, I took a bit of time to keep looking at my piece to see if I could add anything else, but the more and more I thought and looked, the more I decided that I didn't need to add anything that could clutter it up.

Happy Halloween guys!

Fondle does 3G

Below are my 3G submissions. The process was fun, and it had changed a a bit for me while working on them. (Pardon my scans, my scanner is starting to show it's age.)
"The Gluttonous Demon"

For starters, every piece was going to metal music related, and then when I drew up Slimer as Gene Simmons (The Demon), I figured I could just have a little fun with it further. But after drawing the rest out, I wasn't feeling it, and ultimately, scrapped the idea, but kept the Slimer idea. He's got that tongue and could probably shred a mean axe when he was alive. Maybe.

"In order to survive a war, you gotta become war..."

I used to watch Gremlins 2 a lot when I was younger, and every time seeing him as John Rambo just got me so excited.
"Best Bros. for Life"

Nothing did I love more when I was a kid was this duo's unique, or rather, odd partnering.

Nappa, the Greatest of all Saiyans

Dear Joe,

Decided to go the hilarity route, and to save the Guldo vs Nappa idea for a rainy day.

Look Ma! No Feet!

Been awhile since I last posted. Anyways, heres my 80's Toy show submission.
I chose to use a rather obscure toy from the era, to give myself a challenge, and to re-use a style of drawing I've been itching to try again since a failed (not really) Sophomore year assignment. The result being this Ed Roth styled Roller Racer.

Darth Fionda

Hey guys, long time troll, first time poster!
Anyways, it another Darth Vader piece for Josh Frost's book.

A more Robotic looking Vader in one of my favorite scenes from Empire Strikes Back. I had a lot of fun making this, even though at first I wasn't liking how dark in color it was turning out, but eventually liked it when it started to come together. I know there are some little things I can fix before I send it out to him, but overall, I'm happy with it.

And for some more shameless promotion, check out my other works at my website
