Eamon's Sharing Corner

Hello all, I decided it would be cool to share some things of interest with you all. I bought this from the Book Trader in old city, for a whopping 8.95. It is called Japan Inc. , it is a Manga by one Shotaro Ishinomori. He's a fairly legendary Manga-Ka, let's us have a look at him!

Wow! Look at that hair. Of course his man is an influential comics mastermind!






Over here, He is probably best known for Cyborg 009, as well as 009-1, and Android Kikaider. He also did some zelda comics apparently.
The book I bought is about Japanese economics, and has everything you could want in a manga.



An intrepid group of heroes,



Shady white men,


Mustaches,


Explosions,


Strippers,


and Ronald Reagan!


Also included are lots of graphs and tidbits about the japanese economy, which i didnt feel like scanning. (sorry) It is interesting to see a teaching tool in this form, and even more interesting, at least to me, that there is a culture out there that has really embraced the comics form in almost all facets of life. It's a gem of a book, and a fun thing to show people for a few laughs. Hope you liked.
