Also inspired-fisherman's wife.



In the lull I had from working on some recent projects I decided to try my hand at the "fisherman's wife" idea. I like the sketch to this much better than the finished piece- which doesn't look quite so finished to me. I'm still experimenting with corel and etc. Also- blue's and purples. <3

Nice work so far! Was there a cultural influence to the piece. I'm curious about her clothes.

Thanks. =) She is an elderly inuit woman, and yeah, I suppose she does look someting similar to Kana, katara's grandmother from Avatar, however, I wasnt thinking of it at the time.
